The USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods teamed up again Saturday night for a big show at the Upper Iowa Speedway in Decorah, Iowa, for the Industrial Material Surplus Iron Man Challenge with Mitch Hovden and Jason Schlangen taking down the wins.

The Industrial Material Surplus Iron Man Challenge returns to action with a pair of events this Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 18-19, featuring both the USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods on the ticket.

Trevor Hunt backed up his win on Friday at the Highway 3 Raceway with his second straight USRA B-Mod main event win Saturday night as the Industrial Material Surplus Iron Man Challenge invaded the Upper Iowa Speedway in Decorah, Iowa.

The month of June will end with a bang as four events in five nights are on tap for the Industrial Material Surplus Iron Man Challenge.

Officials from the United States Racing Association have released the 2012 schedule for the popular USRA Iron Man Challenge featuring USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars and USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods.

Weekly points races at the Upper Iowa Speedway will feature USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars, USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks, 600 Mod Lites and Hornets.

The fight for the 2011 USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Car National Championship came down to a trio of pilots from Decorah, Iowa, with Mitch Hovden beating out Kyle Falck and Kevin Donlan to claim the 2011 USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Car National Championship.

The Iron Man Challenge invaded the Upper Iowa Speedway Saturday night with a new winner emerging in the USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods and a three-time winner in the USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars as the battle for the points title got even tighter.

In just eight days, two new champions of the USRA Iron Man Challenge will emerge. With the final four events of the 2011 campaign between now and then, the racing action will be boiling hot as the USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Car and USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mod drivers battle it out for this year’s titles.

Sponsored by Fisk's Farm & Home Stores in Cresco and Monona, the event will feature a 35-lap main event with a $600 top prize up for grabs and a unique twist will be in store for drivers and fans.

The Winneshiek County Fair races will be held Thursday, July 14, at the Upper Iowa Speedway. USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars, USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks will be racing for extra prize money plus track and national points with a draw/redraw qualifying format.
