No appetizers needed for this weekend’s entreé as the Holley Iron Man Series dishes up a hearty helping of racing excitement with four shows in five days.

Deer Creek Speedway is celebrating their 20th season, and with tight battles and first-time winners the excitement was in the air all night.

With inclement weather a possibility, the Deer Creek Speedway went on with normal racing action. The show pushed along quickly but was halted about two hours into the program during the feature events.

Saturday night at the Deer Creek Speedway, Kylie Kath and Shaun Walski battled early for the lead in the USRA B-Mods. Walski took the point while Cole Queensland and Brandon Hare battled for second.

Tom Schmitt picked up his second win of the season Saturday night as the Holley Iron Man Series featuring USRA Stock Cars invaded the Deer Creek Speedway.

Mitch Hovden’s magical season continued Friday night at the Deer Creek Speedway as he notched yet another USRA Stock Car victory for the 2015 season.

Shawn Peter of Mable, Minn., raced to victory in a dominating fashion Thursday night as the Deer Creek Speedway kicked off the 5th Annual World Modified Dirt track Championship.
